Annapurna downhill Trek - Kaligandaki trail - 16 Days

This 16 day Kaligandaki downhill trek in Annapurna, Nepal from Australia is brought to you by Sherpa Tours Aust Pty Ltd as a well-planned tour package providing peace of mind and incomparable value in terms of quality of service at best cost. Mostly a downhill journey, this trek offers a tantalising mix of the best that the Annapurna region has to offer along its most developed yet most dramatic trails, the deepest gorge in the world (lying between mountains 8,000 metres and above in height), an arid, Tibet-like landscape, lush green forests and the spiritual meeting point of Hindu and Buddhist cultures. We as one of the top travel agency and tour company specialising in treks and cultural tours to Nepal for Australian travellers create amazing itineraries full of experiences.

The Kali Gandaki Trek starts at Jomsom amid the arid Tibet-like landscape of Mustang. At the sacred place of Muktinath, situated at the foot of the Thorong La mountain pass, we will have a day to explore the central temple, local monastery and village, and enjoy wonderful mountain views. Between Jomsom and Muktinath are the typical Mustangvillages of Tukuche, Marpha, Jharkot, with its medieval king’s palace, and Bonpo Gompa. Part of the trail is an ancient trade route between Mustang and Tibet.
