The trail will take us to the leafy, unspoiled midlands of Nepal, allowing us to experience the sheer beauty of this mountainous region as we sample the intriguing culture of the people who live there. As we proceed along the trail we will pass through traditional Tamang villages where daily routines, cultural practices and crafts have remained unchanged since settlement centuries ago. A warm traditional welcome hosted by the locals, elaborate Tamang costumes, the rich architecture of local dwellings, age-old monasteries and traditional places of prayer add colour to one’s experience of this trail.

Discovering the unbridled beauty of Nepal amidst the throngs of trekkers that descend on the more popular regions could be difficult. If you choose an ‘off-the-beaten-track’ destination, the scenery and cultural aspects you observe will be top-notch. Thus, selecting a less popular trek will enable you to avoid the peak-season crush and still receive spectacular views in fine weather along with indelible cultural experiences. You may be better off this way, by exploring the real Nepal – its natural beauty, friendly spirit and unspoilt culture.
